Hydrofloat-Unit MK1
This pressure reduction therapy unit provides relief to parts of the body otherwise subjected to high levels of pressure. The Hydrofloat unit supports the body gently and softly, distributing the weight of the body evenly over the entire contact surface and thus achieving the lowest possible levels of specific contact pressure.
This provides an improved sense of well being for the patient while restoring circulation in the tissue and so keeping the cells supplied with nutrients. This allows even deep and extensive decubitus ulcers to heal rapidly and requires considerably less intensive nursing care.

The integrated electronically-controlled heating automatically maintains a constant temperature, which can be set according to individual needs.
The unit features an elegantly designed, fully-enclosed construction with smooth surfaces and rounded edges which allow for easy cleaning and optimum hygiene.
The foot rail can be folded down and used as a shelf.

Other standard equipment includes safety side rails, an adjustable head rest and a bracket for urine bags. A trapeze bar is available as an accessory. The dimensions match those of a normal hospital bed.
