Mobilisation and Rehabilitation Wheelchair Thekla 85° 200kg

For applications from early mobility in icu to complex long-term care. The Thekla 85° 200kg mobilisation wheelchair, with its versatile combination of wheelchair, stand-up assistance, stretcher with shock position and tilt table, Thekla II has all the requirements of functional patient care.

This Mobilisation wheelchair is ideally suited to early mobilisation in the intensive care unit and mobilisation of patients highly dependent on care, e.g. hospital patients in a persistent vegetative state, patients in homes for the disabled, nursing homes and for care at home. Here are a few examples of potential applications:

  • Head trauma

  • Apallic syndrome

  • Stroke

  • Overweight with long-term bed confinement

  • Polytrauma

  • Complex fractures

All available positions – from the sitting position to the stand-up position, all lying positions from vascular position, head-down (movement trendelenburg) to foot-down (inverted trendelenburg) and the tilt table position up to 85° - are continuously adjustable electrically using the hand control unit.

The integrated microprocessor monitors all settings and prevents any operating errors. A battery removes the need to rely on mains power.

When moving from the sitting to the lying position, the surface of the stretcher is automatically raised to the level of the armrests, meaning that the patient can be easily moved without risk of back injury to the nurse, even in the case of heavy and immobile patients.

The stable non-tip chassis is equipped with smooth-running double castors and with a central braking and control system.

Useful accessories include tables for both the sitting and standing positions, rails for holding bag systems or drainage equipment, support handles, support straps and various headrests. The padded shower mattress for the Thekla an even remove the need for a shower trolley.
